@JaneHewitt Hello JaneHewitt, thank you for starting this discussion. That must be frightening to think you may have caught the virus, but i'm glad that you are feeling better now! Can you share with us what your experience was like? What symptoms did you have? Is there anything that other members should look out for?
Hello members, I hope you're doing well and don't mind that I've tagged you. Have any of you or anyone you know had COVID-19 symptoms? Do you know anything about the risk for type 1 diabetes patients?

Take care,
Courtney

@JaneHewitt @Courtney_J I've heard many people in my friend group say this too. Many of us feel like we had it late last year around Christmas or before it became a pandemic and that may be entirely true I suppose as we don't know much about the virus still and how exactly it spreads. For all of our sakes, let's hope that we've already had it and are now immune. I think us with type 1 should be ok if we were to catch it, I think it would be more worrisome if we had breathing conditions or were immunosuppressed.
Take care everyone!
