High Blood Pressure and the Coronavirus: What are the risks and recommendations?

@KPangela‍ .... Good to hear from you and know you are are managing to keep yourself occupied. I cant sit and do nothing; it drives me crazy! 

Hoping everyone is staying as safe as possible and keeping themselves indoors as requested by the Government. I just cannot wait for this to all be over as I miss my independence, shopping visits without queuing, collection of medication and of course going to town.

I HAVENT HAD A LETTER BUT IVE GOT HIGH BLOOD PRESSURE, ASTHMA,  L A D OF HEART,  HAVE HAD A MINI STROKE,  DIABETES, I HAVE SELF ISOLATED AS NO LETTER

@lesmal I live in the countryside. A line of 4 houses, 4 bigger places within 1/2 mile.  As we live opposite an old farm track, concrete like all the tracks here, was an airfield in WW2.  I get to get to go on a what we call a 'wheely walk' when the weather is good.  Walk a bit with my stick and pop in the wheelchair when needed.  I extremely lucky and grateful to have a garden.  Keeping me very busy.  A greenhouse which has just had a cold frame built on the side, it's only taken 3 years to build!  I'm very thankful to my husband for building it.

   He's so bored, as my carer me being on the at risk list his boss doesn't really want him going to work unless it can be guaranteed he will be on his own but working with pigs. I am very impressed with my husband's boss because he doesn't have to do that does he!?

In any case I've got plenty to keep me busy with Sowing The Seeds and watching all the baby ducklings we've got about 4 mother ducks that visit our front and back gardens and all together about 40 different sized ducklings it's lovely to watch them all sunbathing on the patio and in the grass and going for a swim in the water troughs I've made for them all all it makes me smile. 

@KPangela‍ ... Sounds a lovely environment with plenty to do and keep you occupied. Yes, having a boss that cares, i.e. for your husband's sake, means so much. Being out in the country is so different to city life where we are based. We have a main road outside our apartment and the noise sometimes drives me crazy.

Traffic seems to have picked up the last few days, so where people are going heaven's knows! They should all be at home setting an example, but some don't care at the moment.

We even have Police present in our parks nearby.

Hello everyone, I hope you're all well. Dad's been doing well, I've set him up with an Audible account so he can listen to audio-books, he has a hard time reading these days with his eyes, and he's being keeping busy!

@KPangela‍ Oh that sounds lovely and idyllic! I wish we were further out as well. Like @lesmal‍ we're in towards the city so there's lots of noise and traffic. I agree about the traffic, I though everyone was supposed to be staying home! Well I guess not now after yesterday's announcement. But we'll see.
