Dear members,
You have probbaly forgotten about this discussion which is a shame because it is the right place to share your tips and experiences.
What impact does the food we eat have on our ankylosing spondylitis symptoms?
Are there any products/nutrients that trigger flares?
If you have something to share, don't hesitate. Remember that it can help other patients learn more about this condition and have something to discuss with their care team.

I just found out this online and I think it can be of use to us all:
Following a healthy diet has been shown to help relieve symptoms associated with ankylosing spondylitis. Here are the foods most beneficial for those with ankylosing spondylitis – and foods that you should avoid in your healthy diet.
Go for Omega-3 foods: flax seeds, walnuts, soybean, Brussels sprouts, kale, cold water fish.
Eat more fruits and vegetables.
Stock up on whole foods and grains.
Eat probiotic-rich foods: yogurt, fermented foods.
Stick with a low-starch diet.
Eliminate sugar, sodium, and fat: added sugars, processed foods, saturated fat, trans fat, preservatives.
Cut down on dairy – for some people, it triggers further inflammation
Limit or avoid alcohol.
