Had gastroscopy earlier this year and have a hiatus hernia, still need to take Vitamin D though, having trouble reordering it on repeat prescription as my doctor has merged with another practice and cannot now order myself online. Can't get through on telephone so have sent message to surgery. No wonder people are going to A&E if they hit a brick wall at GP's surgeries. Sometimes these things (merging of practices) are not a step in the right direction as before didn't have to bother my GP, just ordered online and picked up my repeat prescription from the local pharmacy.

is anybody else taking Fultium for Vitamin D deficiency. I had blood test November/December 2018 and result came back with Vit D deficiency so I was put on Fultium. I am concerned as I have been taking omeprazole for a long time now (stay in hospital and various tests so was treated in hospital and after discharge) which resulted on me being on omeprazole since but have read online that taking omeprazole can result in Vit D deficiency. Funnily enough after last blood test December 2019 I've had letter from my GP to make appointment to go in and discuss omeprazole and whether I need a gastroscopy.
