I have been using the libre 2 sensor for a while but have been hospitalised quite a few times due to dka so I'm going for a pump to help stabilise my levels

I had libre sensor and now on libre sensor 2 alongside my insulin pump and I think it is alot better than pricking your finger up to 10 times a day. Only fault I have with it is on the summer when your sweating as they don't stick very well so constantly fall off. When I phoned to let the company know they said they don't have other sensors with a different glue. However when they sent me new ones I can assure you it was a different glue as I have allergies and this glue burnt my skin.

I use the Dexcom G6 and find it extremely useful. It has alarm settings that you can change for low/high blood sugars, so it can be altered to suit different situations. Since having it it has saved me from going hypo/hyper glycemic on quite a few occasions, and I now rely on it to monitor my blood sugars throughout my life.

I have had the Libre 2 since 2020 having had the first version some two years previously. I also have an insulin pump. Although not perfect, it has been a God send. My health and management of diabetes had improved enormously and I look forward to seeking what percentage of my time has been in range for the period. I actually achieved 82% in range two weeks ago. My sensor occasionally falls off which is annoying, and worst of all, I tried using it with my mobile phone to scan my results and it struggled to read the sensor consistently. Using the Libre2 reader to scan is excellent.

Hello everyone! 🌟
How are you doing today? 😊
This seems like an interesting discussion about using continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) for type 1 diabetes. CGMs like the FreeStyle Libre or the Eversense can offer real-time blood sugar tracking and make diabetes management a bit more convenient by reducing the need for finger-pricks. However, some users have concerns about the devices’ accuracy or the adhesive used.
For those using a CGM, have you found it helpful in managing your glucose levels? Are there features you’d like to see improved? For those not using one, what has kept you from making the switch?

Hi everyone,
How are you today?
I thought I would open a discussion to talk about continuous glucose monitoring for type 1 diabetes?
Do any of you use a continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) device like the FreeStyle Libre or the Eversense CGM? If so, what do you think of it? Has it helped you to better manage your diabetes? Is there anything you don't like about it?
