My menstrual cycle causes flare ups. I have not spoken to anyone else that has this problem. Apart from that my meds keep me flare free.

Hi everyone. My main flare up is bread I get terrible bloating and can hardly move my fingers and wrists. It has taken me ages and lots of pain to work out the cause

i have had RA for over 30 years now & have learned to cope with it, as one needs to do. Recently I had a flare up and the only thing different in my diet was chilli peppers. I woke up during the night with severe pain in my shoulders wrists & hands, wrists & hands being quite swollen.
could chilli be the problem as I believe it is being generated as a benefit in dealing with RA.
