I don't suffer from spurs but i do suffer with pathological fractures in my ribs , feet & ankles. I also have lupus related arthritis which destroying my joints, already have had both knees replaced 10 years ago and deformed feet & fingers+hands+wrists, shoulders and now my back is beginning to be affected. Does anyone suffer like this??

I had a growth spur in my shoulder because of osteoarthritis and I walk with walking sticks. It was removed surgically and a rotator cuff repair as the spur had damaged all the ligaments and muscle in the shoulder. The operation was a great success. My surgeon advised that it would be very likely to occur in the other shoulder but thankfully six years on and it hasn’t occurred. Hope this info helps. X

Hello,
Bone spurs (extra bits of bone, which feel like hard lumps, that form around the affected joint) are unfortunately a symptom of osteoarthritis that many people are impacted by.
Do you get bone spurs? If so, where?
