Hi Juju71, Yes and yes!! I have discovered dry spots all over but lots on my legs and tummy. The GP prescribed creams but they only give temporary relief. The little cuts just appear and I have absolutely no idea how I got them? Fibro? Not sure but it seems a very strange coincidence that I have only had these since having Fibro........ I am glad its 'not just me' !!

Hi Cally, I took a break from antihistamines, didnt want to be on them all year round. Decided to see if they would help and they seem to be. Really helped my face to calm down from these dry patches and rash marks! looked like rudolph for a minute at the time! not a good look. Frustrating to be having symptoms and you have to play guess its my fibro or its not, time of year, cold and damp may be! my scalp has joined in my long list and thats been ok in the summer months! but its normal for me to have a dry scalp! herediatry.

I too take Antihistimines all year round for 'sneeze-a-litis' (as my family call it), so don't notice the difference with that but am using the creams for eczema prescribed by the GP which do help a little bit although I don't like using steroid creams too often. My 'scales' are currently on my chin and are very different to just normal dry skin spots associated with the cold weather and no, definitely not a good look hehe!

My nose can run all a sudden while outdoors, especially winter time. I make sure I carry my little tub of HayMax with me, works on the problem! I haven't got any prescribed creams at home right now. My son has Aqueous Cream (large tub) for his skin complaints, so I've been inclined to use that on my face (issues)

Doctor gave me daktacort ointment, its dermatitis on my face! Glad to say its helping, so is the boots derma moisturiser is working wonders. Bought it last week alongside Glucosamine gel from Holland & Barrett. My legs and arms are so suffering right now, they just don't want to move with the rest of my body! Must be the cold weather I presume. x

Hi, I have increased dry skin but thought that was just an age thing, I'm 43. But my main problem is the sun, as soon as I go out my skins starts to feel like it's being pricked with hundreds of hot needles. I have photosensitivity that even on a bad day in winter the blinds are down. So me and the sun aren't friends anymore. I can't see this being connected but you never know lol.

hi dawn1971, if you don't mind me asking what happens to you with the photosensitivity? I have a seizure disorder and are photosensitive too, take seizures from it.

Hi juju71, when it first started to happened my eyes were extremely painful. Going watching tv with the flickering of light I had to cover my eyes. Then I started turning the lights off and as soon as I was alone the tv was. Then it became even worse where daylight affected me and we lived in the dark for about 3yrs. Even candle light is too much on a bad day. Bright days are a nightmare even with sunglasses on, I can only stand a few minutes and really have to fight for longer. I have severe vitamin D deficiency as a result. Hope this helps you in some way .

Thanks Dawn1971 for sharing your symptoms and can relate to how daylight can get so bright, hence suffering. I get told I look silly for insisting on needing sunglasses quite regularly and most cases I often leave house without them. Feather brain lol.

Hi too! Has anyone else noticed they have dry patches, spots appearing or cuts happen very easily! this is driving me mad, is it fibro or medication related?
