@juliemor Hello julie, thank you for starting this discussion. That does sound like a discouraging message. Let me tag some members to see if they know anything about this.
Hello members, have any of you also received a message from the NHS about your COPD? Have you had any news about this?

@Courtney_J Hi, I have COPD and Bronchiectasis and been in and out of hospital since August 2021. I was in such a severe a condition that I was basically sent home to die, with a palliative care nurse taking on my case.
Although I am fighting the condition as best I can, I have never received any letters or messages from the NHS regarding COPD or any other breathing condition.
I suspect some scammer is attempting to get your personal details, please take care.

Thank you for replying you guys. Obviously I am complying with staying in my house and not going to the shops ect but I did go in the garden for ten minutes because I think that advice is a bit too much. Do you guys go in your gardens?

I am a 79 year old disabled lady and have COPD and gastric reflux disease and I am high risk of coronavirus I believe I may have had it in February I started with a cold followed by a dry hacking cough and then a very serious chest infection which took two weeks of antibiotics then I was so weak I'm frustrated because I can't get a test to say if I have had it if I knew my life would be better than stuck in my one bedroom flat so mentally distressed I'm having migraines every second day

I had pnemonia and accute kidney injury about 6 years ago and alot of my symptoms were similar as well.I understand your way of thinking as i have also had the same thoughts.Ufortunately there are probably thousands of other people are thinking on the same lines as us.There just is not enough test kits to go round and they are getting kits that they have had to return because there are issues with them.I know it can be frustrating,i normally work and feel if i had the test there would be a chance of getting back to work as it effects myself financially and mentally. As unable to get out for 12 weeks.Have you tried any of the relaxation classes on line or meditation..It could help.I really hope you find some thing to lower your stress levels..Stay safe

@Sian05 so sorry to hear of your confinement. I feel your distress and wonder is there anyone checking in on you to see if you are ok? I do so wish you well and urge you to talk to people online as there are support groups out there who can help if only by communicating with you so you don't feel so isolated. Please take carex

Hi there. I received a text this morning from NHS saying that I could open a window but couldn't go outside my property. It also said I couldn't take my rubbish out. I have already been in the house for 3 weeks but am I to understand that I can't even go on my garden now? Have you or do you know of anyone else who has had this text. I am now feeling as if I am in prison?
