I had an estrogen positive cancer. Found during a routine mammogram as I had no symptoms at all so this was a complete surprise. 3cm tumor against the chest wall. I had a lumpectomy and 2 weeks of radiotherapy. Nothing detected in my lymph nodes and my genome score was 7 so it was felt I didn't need hormone treatment. I breastfed 3 children and there is no history of BC in the family. I was on estrogen only HRT for 30 years which may have some bearing on my cancer.
I have researched different solutions to the hot flushes etc. I am happy to share these if it helps.
Best wishes,
Lizoid

Hi all
I had her2 positive stage 2 cancer that had gone into the lymph nodes. I had breast conserving surgery 6 months of chemotherapy and 5 weeks (26) sessions of radiotherapy. I am now on hormone therapy and get bone infusions every six months. It's been a long hard journey but here I am. My hair has grew back 50 shades of grey and curly....I have sore bones but just thankful to be here....I found the lump on my left breast myself it was quite big and growing fast .
Lots of love to all you people fighting this horrible disease π

Diagnosed with secondary breast cancer in both lungs in 2021, primary breast cancer was in 2007 so quite a shock after fourteen years. Been on aromasin now for nearly two years with very little change, however there is now some growth and I am scheduled for some radiotherapy next month, fingers crossed! I have no physical symptoms other than the anxiety of wondering between scans etc what is happening . The secondaries were discovered by a scan for another condition which meant I have had very early intervention.

I had invasive ductal carcinoma stage 2 grade 3 on left side - chemo, mastectomy, radiotherapy. Last year ductal carcinoma in situ on right side - wire guided local wide excision, radiotherapy. I am doing well, mammogram every year. The worry never fully leaves and pops up when some new pain that I have not had before comes along. Most recent finding following tests due to permanent pain across the end of my abdomen - endometrial polyp and complex adnexal cyst on my left ovary. Seeing new consultant end July. Life is good.
Best wishes to you all on this journey.

In this discussion you can name the type of your cancer and identify other patients with the same type and talk about it together.
