@GloriaG Hello Gloria,
Don't worry, you did indeed put it into the right group of discussion.
I'm so sorry to hear about your traumatising experience, it seems like it was very stressful for you :( Have you tried complaining to the airline? If you explain to them what happened perhaps they can offer you some sort of compensation.
Have any other members experienced something similar? Do you find flying difficult with AS? @Jennymh @ahighplace @Walgreens @Mazzar @Mandy43 @BatoutofHell @Marmitesmum @Moocher @interested @jkardine @MPWOLRAC @geronimo1 @davidfoy @Peterem @JackyQ @tcmmcm @Juliewulie1957 @Arjunsingh @MartinOD @Stevewestbury @Paulphi

Hello again, I'm not sure which section I should post this in but you can put it where it belongs for me. I had a very frightening experience when flying to Perth from Bali. The first one was this. There was no ramp for the wheelchair so I had to be carried by four men up the steps into the plane. Then the same on the return trip. This was not only frightening as I have ten vertebrae damaged but embarrassment that I was carried in my wheelchair by four men wobbling and straining to get me up/down. They were laughing as i was crying.
The second time with the same airline....I was pushed to a waiting area and told that someone would come back to collect me. But they didn't arrive and because my arms and hands are not good I could not wheel myself to the exit towards the plane. Plus I had my hand luggage positioned between my knees...!!! I waited for some length of time as my name was being called over the speakers several times. I started to panic. A kind traveler came to my aid and found an airport assistant to "rescue " me. They were apologetic but it left me sobbing as I thought I would not be able to board and my family would panic at the other end because I wasn't on the plane. So, now I have to find an airline which uses a normal ramp....not a set of maybe 40 stairs to navigate. Plus a promise that I would be wheeled to the plane without any drama not left crying in the corridor.
