Hey guys, I hope you are doing all great!!!

Today I come to you with a challenge... does anyone know the answer to this riddle?

What is a word made up of 4 letters, yet is also made up of 3. Sometimes is written with 9 letters, and then with 4. Rarely consists of 6, and never is written with 5.

Nice try SpiritSky but unfortunately not correct. As it appears people are kind of "struggling" with this, think I will try to give some "clues" to help you all solve it (hopefully!). This "thing" is probably more commonly "man made" rather than caused by "natural" means. It can grow or shrink, also probably more often by a person/people rather than as part of a natural phenomenon. Hope this info helps, if not, will give another clue in a few days?????

Such a good try brandx.fone and although I think I can follow your logic, you are unfortunately on the wrong track.......I think I may have accidentally mislead you? Instead of thinking up, towards the sky, think in the opposite way - downwards! Although these things may be more commonly "man-made" I.e. by a person, they can also be commonly made by children or animals or machinery. Hope this helps???
