Hello @RachaelT45, thank you for opening this discussion and for sharing your experience. That sounds like it was incredibly painful! Let me tag some other members who can share their symptoms with you.
Hi everyone, how are you doing? What kind of symptoms did you or your loved one have when you had COVID? And what symptoms are you or they having now that you've or they've recovered? Have they changed any or have they stayed the same?

Not had Covid but my wife and I am suffering a bad session of cold/flu for the last three weeks. Certainly taken my wife back and still dogs her chest and flem plus the cough. So Covid is a simple variation of the cold which will turn into a yearly battle just like colds and flu. Oh the joys of getting old and now with Covid to add to our list!

I posted this elsewhere, but I had fever, sore throat, cough, and lost my taste and smell. I got better after a few weeks but I'm still having intermittant loss of both senses still. I just had sinusitis a few weeks ago so I'm not sure if it's still COVID or if it's because of the sinusitis or both.

I suffer from genetic allergic asthma and think I had the C19 virus in October last year. I lost my appetite could not eat and had terrible fatigue and my legs were hot and the bones in legs hurt so bad had to stay in Bed for 3 weeks. Now months later my legs and body ache all over and I still suffer from exhaustion every day.anyone else had these type of long symptoms?.
