Hi my wife was diagnosed with stage four colon cancer and offered chemo as palliative care only. It’s obviously been devastating but we geared up to go for chemo to give us as much time as possible. However she is constantly getting infections (no more than 2 weeks pass and she is back in hospital).
They have increased her morphine to 40mg which is helping but I wonder if repeat infections is a sign that her body is shutting down. I’m keeping positive but I also want to be realistic and prepare myself for what’s ahead. Just looking for some honest advice. Thank you
