My worst asthma attack was around 3 years ago it was weired how it started I remember not feeling to good in the morning and steadily over the course of the morning started geting tight in my chest and pain took all inhalars carryed on by afternoon I was taking more and more ventolin so went on to my nebs and took my emergency medication went to bed all night I struggled to breathe was now taking nebs every hour and inhales inbetween that started to be sick on top by 4am my husband called an ambulance I started to become blue and very sleepy ended up being taken to resuscitation room I dont remember much after that but I do remember how carm I felt didnt panic at all just remember walking up a few days later on oxygen and needles everywhere and my husband holding my hand was in for around 3 weeks

I have adult-onset asthma and it doesn't run in my family, so when I started having symptoms and had my first attack which eventually led to my diagnosis it was a surprise. I hadn't been feeling well in the morning but didn't think much of it, and when I went to play some football with friends I had an attack mid-match and ended up losing consciousness. Next thing I knew I was in the hospital with all sorts of tubes and things! It's really changed the way I live my life as I was very active before.
