Michael Barnes is community manager for Carenity's United Kingdom and United States platforms. On a typical day he's in direct communication with Carenity's English-speaking members, encouraging interaction between them and answering their questions. He also participates in editing articles for the Health Magazine, sending private messages to call members' attention to pertinent articles and discussions touching on their conditions and writing newsletters for Carenity's subscribers.

Michael Barnes has a degree in Spanish Literature from Ohio State University (Columbus, USA) and a professional background in marketing and communication. He joined Carenity's team in 2019.
