Although in paib alot at times I have one paracetamol and cosine before I go to bed if I am in a flare or lots of pain. I sometimes can manage on two tablets for the whole day. I use heat or cold packs for my shoulders and a shoulder support at night to cushion the joint to minimise the pain. Sleeping tablets can help to get through the night if in a flare.. Obviously can't do much when in pain so rest my joints more and minimise activity until pain levels have dropped. Alos use accupuAccupu once a month to manage pain

Generally I take one Curcumin capsule (the chemical in Turmeric that fights inflammation) a day plus varying amounts of CBD oil depending on pain and stress levels, if the pain is worse than usual I will take paracetamol. I try to keep away from the pharmaceuticals due to the large amount of side effects, however I`m a firm believer in taking whats needed, at least short term if things get too much. Plus I`m on a Paleo diet so am cutting out gluten and grains that make things worse, I also keep away from dairy as it does not affect me well.

Hi, I never take painkillers, but currently am taking prednisone to reduce a bad flare up. I am affected a lot by humidity and here in Ibiza it is very hot and humid. I notice diet also creates more inflammation, acidifying food, drink, dairy... I have a Scenar home device and this really helps with pain, its also healing and boosts the immune system.
At the moment I am being changed from one biologic to another as the RA is very active, so I am feeling extreme pain in the night, early morning when cortisone wears out.
