Hi all,
I was on Humira for approximately 3 yrs. I was happy with how it, in combination with Methotrexate contained my RA. I was also at ease with self administering the Humira, I wasn't aware of any side effects, overall I was very contented to remain on Humira until during a visit to the rheumatology clinic my team wanted to try me on a twice yearly infusion quoting that I would benefit from the change so that was that, but in hindsight I wouldn't have any hesitation in returning to Humira should my current regime be no longer beneficial to me.
Hoping that this is helpful to you.
Regards
Brendan.

I was taking Humira a year ago but I stoped. At first it was ok, but after a month of taking it I started having side effects that where not pleasent at all. I had a dry mouth all the time and couldn't sleep at night because I had hot flashes. I thought it was a fever or something, so I went to the doctor and he told me that those where typical side effects of the Humira, so he changed my medication to Enbrel and it has been working really well.

@Courtney_J I remember just generally feeling unwell when I started on Humira. A bit sick to my stomach and just wanting to go back to bed. It went away fortunately after a few weeks
