Methotrexate is one of the common treatments prescribed for Ankylosing spondylitis. It is a disease-modifying drug that affects your immune system, and is available in the form of pills and injections.

Have you already been on methotrexate? Did it lead to positive results?

Methotrexate can cause minor side effects. Have you experienced any? If yes, how did you cope with them?

Hi, I have been on methotrexatte for several years and I don't really have any side effects. I think there were some at the beginning, like nausea, perhaps, But I don't remember, which means I was, as you said, just a minor side effect.

The pills had really bad side effects on my gut - injections have had fewer side effects. After 3 months still not sure I am seeing any improvements.
