Wow what a statement by that doctor. I’m through menopause (I think). Weight still a problem, facial hair still a problem. Insulin resistance still a problem. My good news is that I started on Ozempic and have lost 21kg. Hopefully my diabetes will see benefits. Wishing you all well

OK, I should have known that there was my weight in chance of no help here. But what really poked my brain was the fact that the doctor actually sat there and said" PCOS stops working when women go through Menapause" Wait a god damn minute! WHAT!... I politely replied, "that's not true, I have double the hormones and my insulin is still resistant, where did you get this information doctor?" He replied quite sternly " It's a well known fact and I have been doing this job for many years!"
