I was diagnosed with PCOS in 2014 by a gp at mine and my fiance's previous gp practice (we are with a new and better surgery now), but I found out in the same day that I previous gp of mine who I registered with when I was with my ex had actually put on my notes in 2013 that I have got PCOS after telling me that I may have PCOS.
I was put on norethiserone and transanaemic acid tablets both of which I was taken off without being told y even though they both help with my periods and the agonizing PCOS aand period pains. They also stopped my periods after I'd taken them both three times a day for four days.
Thanks to not being told that I was going to be ta ken off them and no explanation as to why I was taken off them, I have been having really really heavy and painful periods again, which I hate having as I have low self-esteem and self-confidence as it is and I going out when I'm on my periods as I get scared and really paranoid that I am going to leak or worse of all flood.
I get really really upset when I leak or flood, but my fiance of nearly 5 years is wonderful as he knows what I'm like when I'm on my periods as he will say something like "its nothing to worry about" or "it can't be helped" if I have leaked or flooded and he'll tell me to go in the bathroom and sort myself out and that he'll bring me some clean knickers and a clean pad (sanitary towel) as I leave them in my bag in the front room so that I'm not tempted to change them too often.
