My wife has psoriasis and has started the treatment of stelara. I believe that this has contributed to a vast amount of weight gain...has anyone else experienced it with this medication?

Perhaps it could also be stress related and not the medication, hard to know. Any advice?

Hi - I have been on Stelara for a few years now & I also did notice weight gain. I asked my Dermy & they said weight gain was not listed as a known side effect!!! But you know your own body. It has worked miracles for me enabling me to be more active so I would have thought being more active with usual eating patterns should have resulted in loss of weight

I'm on Humira and haven't had any such issues. Maybe she should ask her GP to switch her?
