Hmm, really interesting - especially to someone like me whose tests all came back inconclusive - I now have an angiogram to look forward to

too late for me, I had heart attack after 4yrs of being told breathlessness was due to my copd, followed by an angiogram and then by-pass surgery.

To be honest it felt a bit weird. It has to go from wrist to heart, via elbow is the weird bit. It was slightly uncomfortable but not painful, but it did save my life. So very worth it.

Thanks for that @laney365 - they say they are running mine from the groin................ they did say it would not be painful, just feel strange. Oh well, as you say, very worth it.

I had one from groin some years ago [definitely preferable]. Which was to determine where extra electrical impulses were coming from as I had arrhythmia, couldn't find it at the time. After by-pass surgery which also left me with AF had to have a procedure to burn off impulses [can't at the moment remember its name, too many tablets, I have trouble sometimes thinking],not too bad tho only one night in NHS hotel [lol]
