@jessyoucan I started with walking because that's really all I could manage, and now a have little hand weights at home that I try to use from time to time. It's hard right now with self-isolation, but I do one walk a day and I try to use my weights and pace in the garden a bit.

@Biggy! Thanks for the reply! Sorry I didn't respond earlier, I got busy with family with all of this mess. i'll have to see if I can get some little weights. At least with the lockdown measures changing I can get out a bit more for walks! We don't have a garden with our flat so that's out for me i'm afraid.

@Courtney_J Since the lockdown has been eased a bit I've decided to try to take control over my health, weight and especially my diabetes. For now i'm not up for much besides walking so I'm starting with that.

@henrick I'm in the same situation, except it's my joint pain keeping me from doing much more than walking. The irony - my joints hurt from my weight, but because of my joints I can't do sport for my weight.

Hello again,
I see this hasn't been asked yet and I am curious. I'd like to start moving more to help shift some of this weight but I'm not sure where to start. What do you do for sport? It will be a bit difficult right now with the coronavirus, but I had thought I would start with walks? I've heard that swimming is easier on the joints, but I'm not sure I like the idea of me in a swimming costume just yet.
