I am Sue's husband and her carer. We do find that people fuss a bit with her and try too hard to help. PPMS has definitely brought us much closer together in love for each other. Showering Sue is now a way I can give her pleasure with a foot massage and leaving her feeling clean and smelling nice. I recommend this to every married couple.
