Hi I'm so glad you brought this up as have recently been struggling with driving lately so my husband does most of it now! I've been finding that I get terrible pain in my right leg especially in my knee which goes up to my hip. It must be the fact that it's my acelacceler leg... Ive only just recently noticed this and connected it to driving. I thought it was just me until I read your post!

The more tired I get, the harder driving gets as it's difficult to focus properly. I always try and rest a lot if I know I am going to be driving on a particular day.

Hiya, I don’t drive much now. I changed my car to an automatic as was struggling with my left knee using an accelerator and the gear stick was causing my left hand to hurt even more. Even with my automatic I can only drive for just over 20 minutes and then that is sometimes pushing it. Don’t want to lose my car as it my only form of transport to get around. Wishing you all low pain days xxx

Fibromyalgia can cause pain and numbness in arms and hands, which can make it difficult to drive.
How have you been coping with it since diagnosis?
Do you still drive regularly or did you have to change your mode of transportation?
Thank you all in advance for your comments!
