No, I don't think my support system fully understand the full amount of my needs. I don't have too much in the way of a support system, anyhow and have been fully socially isolated for a very long time and I am completely deprived of human company. The people at my kingdom hall are a little supportive and so is my peer support worker is too and like me is autistic with learning difficulties too. He with his peer support organisation is getting me a beautiful ground floor flat because I have very bad mobility problems due to poor balance and coordination because I have dyspraxia too. Yes on top of that I am also very depressed and anxious because my mum my dad and my sister and friends Matthew and Roger are now dead and I just found out my lovely aunt has terminal cancer and probably won't recover. I'm struggling with my bereavement and mobility problems particularly

I have suffered from depression and anxiety badly now for about four years mainly due to not having anyone round me to support me ,if I died or had to go into hospital I need support for my dog and my biggest fear if I died in the night no one would know that my dog was here on its own ,my dog has been my rock through cancer depression and now anxiety it would be very helpful if there was some kind of button etc you could press every morning to let a person know on the other end you're still alive. I am a member of cinnamon trust which is a dog charity that would come and take my dog for fostering but there is no way that would happen if there was no support to let them know?

Hello everyone!
How are you doing today? 😊
Living with depression can feel isolating, and having a strong support system can make a world of difference. But sometimes, even our closest friends and family might not fully understand what we’re going through. Miscommunication or lack of awareness can make it hard to express our needs, leaving us feeling unheard.
Do you feel like your support system understands your experience with depression?
What’s been helpful in helping your loved ones understand what you need?
Are there resources or conversations that have improved your relationships during difficult times?
