My main focus when trying to sleep is the perpetual sense of numbness in my feet and the tingling sensation that I feel from my feet up tho my lower abdoment, but also have achy fingers that have so far not prevented me from using the computer ketboard. Should that occur at some point it will be a very difficult obstavle to overcome so am hopeful this is not going to happen soon. If anyone has tried using a Niagara Health Care Cyclonic Therapy unit, I'd be glad to hear of your experience having bought one and so far have not found it to assist me.
I have cervical disc herniation and lumbar stenosis, which impacts me when standing for extended periods with sitting provides relief when that is the case. I have resisted the use of painkillers as the intensity has not been at a level I cannot live with.

I have a long standing back injury from 1998, I also have Osteoarthritis in both my knees and my back. Over the past twenty years my sleep pattern has suffered immeasurabily. I have adapted to less than three hours sleep per night. I am lucky if I sleep for anymore than that. I would consider sleeping past 5am as a good nights sleep. My Doctor has tried everything. I have just adjusted to getting by on very little sleep due to the pain. I’m on too many drugs from the Doctor to count anymore. I wish there was a cure for me, but I ave not seen anything to excite me recently. Maybe over time there might be something invented, but I won’t hold my breath.

I have Fibromyalgia, along with Chronic Daily Headaches, I also have other medical issues.
I struggle daily with chronic fatigue and tiredness, I am currently trying vitamins, green lipped mussel supplement, turmeric supplement, calcium, zinc, magnesium.
For the Chronic Daily Headaches I take the following prescription medications Pregabalin, Propranolol and Omeprazole (to protect my stomach from ulcers)
For the Fibromyalgia my doctor has told me to take OTC medication Paracetamol, which doesn't always work and I don't want to take the maximum daily dose every day, as I can develop a tolerance for drugs and they become ineffective
In the last week I have woken up twice screaming when I have moved my arm and the pain was agonising
I can't work and I'm getting very frustrated.
Even more frustrating is that I was an active person sports, gym, even walking are now activities I can't do
Will take any advice on what I can do to improve my quality of live

I have Osteoarthritis in my spine and Spondylosis (cervical and thorasic). I don't take pain relief in the form of tablets except for the odd paracetomol. I have a Tens machine which helps when in severe pain. I am currently having Physio privately, I have numbness in both my feet and have night cramps in my calves. I do take a low dose Amitrypteline at night in the hope I might get a bit of sleep. I do try to keep active even if its just a short walk. I used to do Yoga and keep fit classes but find them uncomfortable now. I am waiting for the Nhs to send me to a class specially designed for back pain.

@wednesday @esw048 @Bigj1969 Thank you all for sharing, it must be so difficult to go through such pain everyday so you all have our admiration from the whole team at Carenity.
Today we published an article on different applications that help with pain management, you can read it if you follow this link. Perhaps you will be able to find some relief using from using one of those.
I wish you all the best,
Josephine

Thank you @JosephineO for all the tips and advice... Lower back pain has hit me over the last few months. Physio hasn't worked and Doctor has called me in for possible bone density testing... Hope osteoporosis/osteoarthritis is not picked up, but my family is arthritic, so am sure this is the case too, i.e. those famous family genes!
Paracetamol doesn't always work for pain, but helps occasionally.
