You sound like you are doing a good job, he is lucky to have you.
it can be very isolating at the best of times, your partner is on a dark journey and you my friend is his light. x

my partner was suffering with depression before i met him and has been for about 8 years before I knew him he did attempt to end his life and the thought of that is just heartbreaking. The thing that grates on me the most is his parents don't even acknowledge him ive known him to walk past them and they don't even look at him or say hello to him they have no respect for him unfortunately we cant afford to move out as it is only me that is working and my wage isn't enough. Sometimes I feel lost as to what to do, sometimes I feel like screaming at his parents his sister is treated like a princess while he is completely ignored.
I know I'm not the only one out there but sometimes I feel that they don;t even realise what i do for their son how I am slowly but surely making him better.
I hope people don't mind me putting this up its my first time on here.
