I used to enjoy walking, but have found both before and since COVID my exercise regime has practically stopped.
I have been through many changes in medication (3) for my epilepsy over the last 18 months, and am convinced that the side effects of different medications are one of the main causes for lack of exercise, libido, and basic changes to the body. Being on another medication, waiting for more EEG video testing in March, and once again delaying the process for results due to COVID backlog, is another long couple of months ahead which I'll have to face. Being weaned off medications doesn't always help whilst increasing dosages of a new medication; again they all have different side effects.
Due to the above, I've just not had the motivation or energy to carry on with it.

Hello everyone,
How are you doing?
A number of studies have shown that people in the UK have been exercising less since the beginning of the pandemic.
What about you? Have you decreased or even stopped being physically active? Or have you been able to exercise more?
Sport has been proven to contribute to mental, physical, and social health. In many health conditions, it is even considered essential to maintain daily physical activity. As COVID numbers continue to rise across the world and lockdown continues in the UK, gyms and other places for physical activity have remained closed.
What do you think about this? Should public spaces designed for excercise stay closed, or should we find a way for people to be able to exercise or play sport both indoors and outdoors?
Feel free to discuss and share your comments below!
Take care,
Courtney
