I so wish I could be cured it would be so good I would not have to worry about taking lots of medication and no more hospital appointments or MRI SCANS it would be brilliant and no more seizures

I'm grand today, despite a few family problems, but I just keep smiling.

I've had epilepsy for 51 years. If I was able to be epilepsy free it would be great to not take epilepsy medication. It still would not stop my passion to advocate and educate the epilepsy community on daily challenges, triggers, side effects of medication, memory loss and so much more!

@lesmal I totally agree with you as over the years I've found that eplim and other epilepsy medications aren't very good on my body I get bad upset stomach cramps at times from my medication so it would be amazing to be cured I'd love nothing more, I get a metal taste in my mouth at times kind of like a trigger

It would be great to be cured as I wouldn't have to have a work capability assessment done every 3 years and not have to remember to take loads of tablets.

Hello everyone,
How do you feel today?
It's a thought that many people living with chronic conditions may have entertained while going about their day-to-day challenges. While we all too often focus on finding more powerful treatments and dealing with symptoms, it's worth reflecting on how life might transform if a complete cure were available.
What would healing from your chronic illness mean for you, physically, emotionally, and socially? Would it be as simple as regaining freedom, or would it take some getting used to? And finally, how do you let go of the life you’ve grown into, even if that life was shaped by limitations?
