Could understand for the war, but I don’t think it now serves any particular purpose. The practice is now redundant. Why not just leave them at GMT it’s not good for any of us and very definitely upsets my cat .

Don’t like the sleep disruption. Horrid when you have small children. Wish we would get rid of it

I don't see the purpose of it.
From living in Africa for 60 years, waking up early, and getting into my usual routine, the change of clock has upset my routine whilst now living in Northern Ireland.
My dog has no idea of the change of clock system. He continues as normal!
It's a waste of time.

Hello everyone,
How are you today?
Though its starting and ending dates have changed over the years, the concept remains the same: roughly around the period of the spring and fall equinox, we advance or turn back the clock by one hour.
At its origin, the concept was developed to save energy and boost productivity, but studies over the years have shown that it does not significantly help with energy saving and can even negatively impact our health!
We've just published an article on this topic, you can read it here: How does changing time affect our health?
This year, British Summer Time (BST) begins at 01:00 GMT on 27 March.
What do you think? Do you like making the change from standard to Summer Time each year? Do you think it's something we should stop doing? Do you notice any changes in your mental or physical health with the time change?
