@smokitcat - The "Revenue Act of 1861" is a pretty good indicator.

The mad vegans are out and about advising people, while they consume the worst diet for the human race. We eat lots of unhealthy food but we have to die of something, the risks are to small to worry about. No one will mess with my bacon sandwich or my lovely meat eating diet!

Ridiculous suggestion about bacon wrappers no.
If people are educated let them decide.
Meat tax? Man is raised on meat and at least 2 veg. Unless you are vegan?
What ever next

@Alvina - Accelerated brain development began with eating cooked meat; and, a predecessor of the pig was, probably, the most readily available source.
Thousands of centuries have proven these panic warnings are not necessary.

At that point, I doubt it would be of much benefit to the pig.

Total rubbish idea-just an excuse. A varied diet is far better. It's down to personal choice.

Hello everyone, how are you all doing today? 😊
Recently, vegan industrialist Dale Vince proposed placing tobacco-style health warnings on packets of bacon, highlighting the WHO’s classification of processed meats as a group one carcinogen (the same category as tobacco). Vince also suggested a “meat tax” and hiding meat products behind closed doors in supermarkets, similar to how cigarettes are displayed.
Some believe these measures could encourage healthier choices and reduce cancer risk, while others feel it’s an extreme step that infringes on personal choice. Would such warnings influence your decisions?
Do you think placing health warnings on bacon and other processed meats is the right way to promote health and sustainability? Or are there better approaches?
