Dairy products are at the centre of many nutritional debates. Packed with calcium, protein, and vitamins like B12, dairy plays an important role in bone and dental health. However, for some people, lactose (the sugar in milk) can cause digestive issues such as bloating, diarrhoea, or abdominal pain due to intolerance. There are also potential links to inflammation, allergies, and even hormonal imbalances.
Thankfully, alternatives like plant-based drinks (almond, soy, oat) or lactose-free dairy products offer great options for those looking to cut down or eliminate dairy.
