Minimising sugar intake, especially processed refined (added) sugar, is probably the most important in a diet. Although this idea’s been around sonce the 1950s with Atkins, sugar lobbies have tried to blame CHD and other dieases on saturated fat. But the Mediterranean diet proves this wrong.

Hey everyone,
How are you doing today? 😊
I've been hearing a lot about the Mediterranean diet and how it might be healthier for people with chronic illnesses. It has gained a lot of attention lately for its focus on whole foods, healthy fats, and its overall balanced approach to nutrition. It’s often linked to improvement in heart health, reduced inflammation, and a boost in overall wellness, which can be especially important for those dealing with chronic conditions. I'm curious if anyone here has tried it or is currently following it.
If so, what has your experience been like? Have you noticed any changes in your symptoms, energy levels, or overall well-being? Any tips or favourite recipes you'd like to share?
Whether you’ve been following this diet for years or just started exploring it, I’d love to hear your stories, and they might be really helpful for others who are considering giving it a try.
Looking forward to hearing from you all!
Best,
Somya from the Carenity team 🌼
