They are there to make money, nothing more, we have needed new anti-biotics for years but it is not financially viable to produce new ones, so people die unecessarily. Money talks, ethics walks as we have seen with Covid!

@robjmckinney - Not unlike EV's.
We have more than 150 years of coal and 450 years of petroleum. Preparing for the natural convergence of time, technology and technique will provide far more efficient and economic alternatives than the overpriced products of today; most of which, the guilt driven public can't afford. Finally, independent authors, like Bjorn Lonborg, are coming forward to emphasize this inevitability.

There is NO way the pharmaceutical companies care about patients. It strictly about money to them. Look at the so called "vaccines" that are NOT vaccines they pushed out for covid. If people would have done their due diligence, they would have known the downfalls and dangers of that jab! The big pharma made billions from it. The pharmaceutical companies want to keep us sick so they can profit from our illnesses! You cant tell me they can have the technology they have now and NOT have a cure for cancer. These big pharma companies do NOT want the cure known due to the fact they would lose even more money. Sad and disgusting. Hopefully something will change with our new Administration and Kennedy helping out!

@VICKICOFFEY - I frequently say: "What this country needs, is more hyperbole."

@LifeDelineator Ok....Just FYI, my statement was NOT a hyperbole, it was fact and not exaggerated.

@VICKICOFFEY - Despite the warnings from Edwin Newman, to this woke exaggerated world, probably not.

@LifeDelineator I'm not here to argue with you. You obviously have your opinions and I have my facts--by the way, Edwin Newman wasn't even around when the "wokeness" came about--he died long before--more FACTS.

They are not social service organizations. They are free enterprise.

Hello everyone, how are you doing?
Pharmaceutical companies play a big role in developing medications for chronic illnesses, but are they doing enough to support patients beyond just providing drugs? Many believe that these companies could do more: such as offering better patient education, or investing more in research for rare and overlooked conditions. 💊
Here in the UK, with the NHS negotiating prices, the focus is often on affordability and ensuring that medications are accessible to all. But is this enough?
Do you think pharmaceutical companies are doing enough to support patients? What other types of support would make a difference for you?
