I find twinings cherry and cinnamon very good for my sugar levels. Also Hemp milk and Goats milk it is easy to digest. Yellow melons, pears and raspberries are good for you diabetes as well for looking after dieting and digestive system.

Usually advice for health can be really straightforward like eating less or exercising more to lose weight, but on this article I want to show you ten interesting and counterintuitive ideas that can help you have a better health and life.
1. Drink coffee to have a better nap
What? Yes! Japanese studies have shown that consuming 200 milligrams right before a 20min nap can make you be more alert. Why does this work? “A 20-minute nap ends just as the caffeine kicks in and clears the brain of a molecule called adenosine, maximizing alertness.”
2. Don’t brush your teeth after eating
Especially if what you ate was acid, it is not recommended to brush your teeth right after, because this can soften the tooth enamel which will eventually make the underneath layer to erode. It is suggested to wait between 30 to 60 minutes.
3. To eat less, eat more
You might think that eating a 100 calories crackers snack pack is the right solution. The truth is that you will be hungrier faster. The clue is to eat a more substantial snack like apple and peanut butter. Carbs spike your blood sugar and leaves you unsatisfied. If you eat healthy proteins and fat you will be full for longer.
4. Skip energy drinks when you are tired
Energy drinks contain up to five times more caffeine than coffee, but the boost they provide is fleeting and comes with unpleasant side effects like nervousness, irritability, and rapid heartbeat.
5. Drink water when you are bloated
Even though it sound contradictory it works. For example, if you're on a high-fiber diet, then your body needs more water to work more efficiently. "Water mixes with water soluble fiber and makes it into a gel like substance. This affects the mobility of the gut and reduces the symptom of bloating." Drinking more water also relieves bloating caused by dehydration.
6. Don’t drink diet soda if you want to lose weight
You should ditch all soda, including diet. Research has revealed that overweight and obese adults who drank diet beverages ate more calories from food than those who drank regular soda. Additionally, a University of Texas study found that diet soda drinkers had a 70% greater increase in waist circumference than non-drinkers over the course of about 10 years.
7. Drink a hot beverage to cool off
Through studies and ancient culture’s traditions it has been proved that if you sip a hot beverage, your body senses the change in temperature and increases your sweat production. Then, as the sweat evaporates from your skin, you cool off naturally.
8. Handwrite your posts to boost your brainpower
According to research typing notes enables you to jot down more material, but you're more likely to remember those notes if you handwrite them.
9. Ditch the antibacterial soap to prevent illness
Reaching for the soap bottle labeled "antibacterial" won't necessarily reduce your risk of getting sick or passing illness to others—in fact, there is no evidence that antibacterial soaps are more effective than regular ones.
10. To improve your relationship, spend less time together
Spending time alone allows you to process your thoughts rather than act impulsively and, as a result, you get to know yourself. "In addition, it reduces stress and anxiety, which could also contribute to relationship strains." Meditate, go for a walk, sit in a café and people watch, or even clean out your closet.
