I am a late onset type 1 diabetic wit insulin resistance measured at approx 92%. Iam on a basal bonus regime of 50-60 units once a day for my Long lasting insulin and then I use a fast tracking Insulin novo rapid three times a day pre meal amount dependant on what my current BM is and what I am about to eat. On the whole my bm's tend to run high usually in mid 40'sat which time ketones appea and diabetic ketoacitosis developments materialise.i am now at the point of insulin being the answer 2-3 insulin a injected sleep and no more problems
