I have osteoarthritis mainly in the knees, hands, hips and spine.
It can be extremely painful at times and having osteoporosis does not help matters. I take Risedronate Sodium for that. Living with the pain is difficult but I take one day at a time.

I have osteoarthritis in both thumbs, bone on bone. Then in my lower back, both hips and both knees. But xrays showed only mild in knees and hips.
I have a really painful right knee at the moment, sometimes feeling as though it's going to give way. I'm rubbing it with voltarol, doing knee exercises, taking painkillers and wearing a knee support.

Osteoarthritis is the most form of arthritis and it most commonly occurs in the spine, hands, hips, knees and spine.
Where does your osteoarthritis affect you? Is it just one location or several?
