@jessyoucan Hi jess, I've just joined. I've also struggled my whole live. Don't be ashamed, it happens to everyone, obese or not. What helps me is setting small goals for myself to achieve by day or by week, they don't specifically have to be linked to a number on the scale if that helps you. Like 'today i want to walk 10,000 steps' or 'I want to eat X number of vegetables by the end of the week". Setting little, goals that I can easily tick off really helps me.

@Biggy! I've been thinking about getting one of those smart watches that counts steps to help motivate me, do you have one? Do you think it'd help?

I'm interested in this too. How do you find the motivation? I get out of breathe just trying to put my shoes on so by the time I get to the front door I'm panting and frustrated and hating myself. So most of the time I give up. I also can't deal with the stares from people when I try to workout, so the gym is out for me.

Hello,
Hi everyone,
I'm Jess. I've struggled with my size my entire life. I had some family stuff that really did a number on me emotionally last year and it caused me to fall out of my weigh-loss routine. I was doing well around this time last year, but now I've regained all the weight I'd lost plus some... I'm embarassed and a little ashamed...
I guess what I'd like to ask is what do you do when you fall out of your routine? How do you find the motivation to start again and keep going? I'd really love some advise here as the family is no help. They're basically worse off than I am.
Jess
