Hello @MariaB, thank you for opening this discussion. I'm sorry to hear about the nausea, that must be really hard to cope with! Let me tag some other members who can possibly share with you.
Hello everyone, how are you today? Have any of you noticed that your fibro affects your appetite? Have you ever experienced nausea? What do you think is behind it - the fibro or the medications you may be taking? How did or do you manage it?

I have a recurring issue with my appetite but never put it down to the fibromyalgia. Sometimes I can eat anything I want to but other times I just can't face eating or I'll only have a few mouthfuls and feel full. Fibromyalgia has a lot to answer for in relation to what it does to us. It's bad enough with the pain, brain fog and other things it brings with it but then there seems to be something new to add to it every week.

@Pippadog Did you figure out what was behind it? Do you think it's the fibro or your medicines?
@Sickofpain I completely agree, I sometimes feel like I have no idea what's going to come next or what it's going to do to my body. One of the worst parts of fibro.

Hi all, in the past month I've completely lost my appetite. When I even look or smell food it just makes me nauseous, let alone the taste. Now there are only a few foods tha that I can force down without feeling like I'm going to vomit. I've been given anti-nausea medicine but it doesn't seem to be helping... I've started losing a lot of weight because of it and I'm worried that it's going to cause problems. I've been taking a multivitamin to try to ensure that I get some sort of nutrients in my body.
Has anyone else had this problem? I don't know if it's the medicines or the fibro itself doing this? Is there any way to make it stop?
