Just wondering is this another thing epileptic's can get? Or people who are myopic?

I am shortsighted (myopic) in the blue eye. The one WITHOUT coloboma.
I’ve never heard of a link between epilepsy and coloboma (and I do know a fair few folk in person and now online, I know many more) but that doesn’t mean there isn’t a link, I just mean don’t worry...maybe that’s what I mean... I don’t know.
coloboma is very much predominantly CONGENITAL (from birth) ... it is when complete formation of the eye doesn’t occur.
HOWEVER, coloboma can be acquired if the eye is punctured or if surgery has occurred on the eye.
Hope that helps.

I have had coloboma of the retina, iris, choroid and optic nerve in one eye since birth.
This eye, (the green one) due to the position and size of the retina coloboma has no vision.

I also have two different coloured eyes (heterochromia iridum) -my blue eye is fine, well I’m short sighted but fine. It’s the green eye with coloboma. I do have a photo of my retina somewhere but I cannot find it at the moment. (I’ll post a photo of it when I do.)
