@madeleine09 Hello madeleine09, thank you for opening this discussion. If you haven't seen already, we just recently published an article summarising information about COVID-19 and diabetes our Scientific Committee shared with us during their latest meeting. It's very informative and explains the current understanding of the link between diabetes and COVID-19: COVID-19 and diabetes: Interconnected pandemics?
Hello all, how are you holding up? Have any of you experienced COVID-19? If so, what kinds of symptoms did you have? How are you doing now?

I am doing very well with lowering my sugar levels. And I hope to get down to 5.9. At this moment I am getting 7.5.

Hi all, I hope you all are alright in what seems like the millionth day of lockdown... I hope that this isn't repetitive, but at the beginning of all of this we heard so many horror stories about COVID cases for diabetes patients and how we were so much more at risk. You hear and read things I guess but I don't actually know anyone who has gotten it.
Has anyone here gotten COVID? If so would you be willing to tell us a bit about it?
I'm curious about what is real and what has been exaggerated or confused by the various news/social media outlets.
Sorry for the ramble, thanks for reading xx
