@raymundo Hello raymundo, thank you for sharing your story with us, I'm sorry you've been through all of that. Let me tag some other members who can maybe share their experiences with complications linked to type 2 diabetes.
Hello everyone, how are you today?
As you all know, when diabetes is not managed well it can lead to some serious health consequences, such as kidney damage (nephropathy), heart disease, eye disease, skin infections, and more.
Have you or a loved one experienced any complications due to type 2 diabetes? How are you or they doing today?

@raymundo My goodness, what you've been through! I fortunately don't have heart issues myself, but I do have some blood pressure problems. My hubby also has type 2 and he has diabetic nephropathy probably caused by his high blood pressure.

I found out in1993 that all was not right with my glucose levels in my body tho years doctor prescribed lactalus drink to help with constipation I believe that was a contributing factor to my present wows. Since then I suffered a major heart attack in 2004 August then I had surgery to install 2 stents in my vein near my heart not sure all I know it was so painful and cold in the theatre throwing buckets of disinfectant over my legs body then I was told I could watch the procedure on a monitor, really the pain was almost unbearable tears ran down my face arriving at 8am I was the last to be done at 8pm that day more to follow
