Sorry that you didn't get the response that you wanted Stumpy.
Sometimes the 'professionals' seem totally emotionless but they have to remain 'outside' of emotions in order to do their job. I would struggle not to get involved too much as that is the type of person that I am.I would be rubbish.
Everything has to be viewed in black /white [facts not emotions] which when you are on the receiving end is the last thing that you need/want. It is a bit like a court hearing ; its all based on facts.
I do hope that you don't focus too much on the 'what if' .Remain positive /upbeat about it all. Scrub yesterday as that is history today.
Do something fun today.
Catch up later my friend.
Oodles of love and laughter coming your way.

Well I've had to decline the new medication, as I found it it causes excessive weight gain, and I'm not happy that the psychiatrist even suggested it, I struggle with my weight enough, am gonna be making a formal complaint, today has been more of a relaxed day, I went to my anger management with Sarah, and spent the day with my friends, went for a game of pool

I take each day as it comes, try to have a focus for that day. Today is pretty good, but it gives me a nudge every now and again. H

I just got back from my psychiatrist appointment, and I finally got the courage to tell him about my childhood abuse, but his reaction was one of zero emotion, he just prescribed yet another medication, an antipsychotic, on top of my Ritalin, and my Propranolol, he now wants to add on Risperidone, but the last antipsychotic drug I tried sent me severely psychotic, and I'm really nervous about trying it, I was almost in tears, and when I asked if I feel psychotic/it makes me worse, what I do, he didn't have an answer, and when I asked if I phoned in a severe psychotic state, if they could get me a bed in psych ward, he avoided the question, and eventually I got a no
