My daughter is morbidly obese and has severe learning difficulties. She can not access mainstream activities due to her special needs. She is non verbal and has dysarthria. I feel the go isn’t taking me seriously. I’ve vern referred back to a dietician but last time the lady just said give her less food and couldn’t understand that my daughter is borderline prada willi syndrome as she will eat everything in sight. We have to pick things away but if we forget she will just raid cupboards and fridges. She is 15 and 100kg. I don’t know what to do. We bought her an excercise bike and Wii fit and she found it interesting at first but novelty is wearing off. We joined a gym but again, it worked for a few weeks then she lost interest and I wasn’t able to get her to go as she would get upset. She doesn’t have the mental capacity to understand that her weight is a problem so I know I have to be the one to encourage her. I just need advice really as I’m so worried that her health May deteriorate due to her being so grossly overweight. Please help if anyone can. Am I really alone 🤯

My daughter's got dyslexia. It makes it hard for her at school sometimes. Anyone else in the same situation?

It is never easy being the parent of a sick child and many parents can feel hopeless and desperate when they can't help their child.
