@Courtney_J Shame, I missed out on the event. I think I'd just generally for people to know about CD in general. I don't know if I need everyday people to be more aware of Castleman disease but rather the medical community. I think a lot of us would have been diagnosed sooner and put in contact with doctors who are knowledgeable quicker if that were the case.

Hi everyone,
How are you today? Have you seen this discussion?
Is it challenging living with a rare and relatively unknown condition? Is there anything wish others knew about Castleman disease?

@PennyLane I agree, I wish there was just more awareness about this disease, especially among doctors. Hopefully things will change with time.

Hi everyone,
Did you know that next Friday, 23 July, is World Castleman Disease Day?
In honour of this special day shining light on and raising awareness for Castleman disease, the Castleman Disease Collaborative Network (CDCN) has published a few videos raising the voices of those living with CDC to talk about their experiences.
I thought I'd share one here:
So, what about you? What do you wish people knew about Castleman disease? What do you think can be done to raise more awareness of CD?

The CDCN is also hosting a live World Castleman Disease Day event on Zoom and Facebook to discuss the latest progress and future priorities on Thursday 22 July! If you're interested in joining in, feel free to register here!
Take care,
Courtney
