@Courtney_J Hi, I just joined the site, so sorry if I'm a bit new to this! I was diagnosed about 10 years ago now after having weeks of bladder infections and pain in my back and side that ended with a trip to A&E thinking I was having a heart attack! After all the scans and tests they came back with PKD. I had never heard of it, but we think my father may have had it as he passed of kidney failure many years ago. Right now I'm mostly being treated for my high blood pressure and occasional kidney stones or bladder infections. I'm grateful to have found this group to get to talk to others about it!
