• Triggering allergens : The same allergens that cause allergic reactions, such as pollen, dust mites, or mold, can also worsen asthma symptoms in allergic individuals.
• Inflammatory response : Allergic reactions can trigger inflammation in the airways, which can lead to bronchoconstriction and asthma symptoms such as coughing, shortness of breath, and wheezing.
