@Sazjm63 Hello Sazjm63, thank you for starting this discussion. I'm sorry you've been through that. I think this is both a stressful and confusing time for us all as there is a proliferation of information, and some of it can be contradictory. Currently, the NHS lists a number of your conditions, particularly asthma, on its list for those at moderate risk: https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/people-at-higher-risk-from-coronavirus/whos-at-higher-risk-from-coronavirus/
Let me tag some members who may be able to comment further on their experience during the lockdown. Hello all, have you been classified at high risk or at moderate risk by your doctor or the NHS? Do you think that people with asthma should be classified at higher risk since the virus is none to strongly impact the respiratory system? Feel free to share here!

I've been classed as cronic asthmatic for years repeated hospital stays with chest infections and aspiration of asthma. Last November I had the ambulance ( pretty reaccuring end of year).twice treated sent home then my husband took me in where I was then observed 24 hours all in all 4 visits and new meds in a week out on steroids for a month.. I had a lung function test which showed some damage to my lower lungs. Consultant then avoided this info and told me I had ' indigestion " I'm on Fostair 2puffs twice a day and ventolin 2 puffs twice a day I have numerous other conditions which goes complicate things but my doctors didn't put me in the ( night shield category) which was confusing. Think it's because of the respiratory Dr saying I had indigestion?
Rheumatoid arthritis ,Asthmatic oeastiopenia some oestoperoisus
